PolarLake releases unique new product
Dateline: 16 June 2003
PolarLake has announced the release of thePolarLake JIntegrator - the first Universal Enterprise Service Bus.
The PolarLake JIntegrator provides a complete solution for creating new, or extending existing, Java and J2EE-based XML and Web Services systems. The PolarLake JIntegrator is the first Universal Enterprise Service Bus with an ability to span multiple messaging oriented middleware (MOM) products, including IBM's MQ-Series® and Tibco's ActivEnterprise(tm), as well as Internet protocols, while meeting the most demanding performance and reliability requirements.
"A new form of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) infrastructure - combining MOM, Web Services, transformation and routing intelligence - will be running in the majority of enterprises by 2005," said Roy Schulte, Vice President and research fellow, Gartner, Inc. "ESBs are well suited to be the backbone for service-oriented architectures and the enterprise nervous system."
"The PolarLake JIntegrator delivers the promise of the Enterprise Service Bus with its combination of enterprise grade runtime server and productive tool set," said Ronan Bradley, CEO of PolarLake. "The PolarLake JIntegrator
is the first Universal ESB, allowing companies to get the benefits of the ESB architecture without the additional cost of buying another MOM product. Additionally, they can use the PolarLake JIntegrator to link across multiple
MOM or Internet protocols".
This is the first in a series of exciting product releases previewed by the company last month, focusing on the key problems associated with integrating XML-based interactions with existing Java-based applications.
