  Historical Investments

We like our investments to be well-positioned in new and very rapidly growing markets where the customers have great enthusiasm for the company's products. Ideally, the product or service takes advantage of a growing market rather than displacing well-established competitors. We like to invest as early as possible in the life cycle of a venture. Most of our investments are at start-up or within 6-12 months of start-up. Most of our investee companies have intellectual property underpinning the differentiation of their products. We do invest in technology-enabled service businesses where speed and quality of execution can lead to a market-winning position without the consumption of significant amounts of capital.
